We are constantly working to improve and adjust our accident prevention methods to ensure on-site safety on each project. Safety comes first no matter how big or small the project is. Our daily safety briefings give our performance teams tactical reminders with focused messaging. Safety education teams conduct specific task training on-site and in the field. Key Elements of McClure Company’s Safety Program Include:

  • Management commitment, involvement and accountability
  • Written safety and health policies, including substance abuse policy
  • 888-SAFEWRK toll-free phone number for employees, customers or the general public to report unsafe conditions and ask safety questions

  • Documented performance measures including EMR, TRIR & LWD
  • Orientation and safety training for all new employees, including completion of OSHA course
  • Continuous safety training at all levels, plus extensive quarterly training for supervisors

  • Pre-job safety planning and site-specific safety programs for all projects
  • Systematic Safety Auditing process performed by several management levels to ensure compliance
