Arcelor Mittal Steel Plant

ArcelorMittal is the world’s largest steel producer and mining company. In the United States, ArcelorMittal employs more than 18,000 at over 26 operations. Their eastern Pennsylvania location in Steelton, PA has a 1 million ton steelmaking capacity. The Steelton plant produces railroad rails, specialty blooms, and flat bar products for use in railroad, open-die forging, and industrial applications. Over the years, McClure Company has performed various piping and other jobs for sustainable upgrades at the plant.

Project Highlights:

• Installed new combustion exhaust system
• Performed upgrades to the hydraulic system to accommodate new hydraulic operated equipment
• On-going maintenance and facility upgrades
