Educational Scholarship Program Guidelines
The Dave Morsberger Memorial Foundation Scholarship Program is an annual educational scholarship awarded to dependents of McClure Company employees. For 2021, the Dave Morsberger Memorial Foundation will be awarding $1,000 scholarships for the spring and fall college semesters to qualified applicants. The number of scholarships awarded may vary from time to time at the discretion of the Board and the Scholarship Selection Committee.
Be the dependent of a McClure Company employee who has worked at McClure for at least 12 months
Be currently enrolled in and pursuing a degree at an accredited college, university, or other post-secondary institution in the U.S. during the academic school year for which the applicant is seeking scholarship
Have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher; (high school graduates entering their first year of college must have a minimum average high school GPA of 2.5 or higher)
Applicants may not be:
A dependent, child, grandchild, or any other close relative of a McClure Company employee who is on the management team
A dependent, child, grandchild, or any other close relative of a McClure Company employee who is on the Dave Morsberger Memorial Foundation Board of Directors
International students or temporary residents
No more than one scholarship may be granted to any individual applicant or family in a 12-month period.
Selections will be made without regard for race, color, national origin, age, or sex of applicant.
Incomplete applications may result in disqualification.
All information must be typed and submitted online; no handwritten applications will be accepted.
The deadline for Fall 2021 applications is July 16, 2021.
Scholarship award recipients will be notified and announced by the end of July.
