At McClure Company, safety is everyone's responsibility, and our team continues to demonstrate what it means to look out for one another.

During the month of August, we received 14 submissions through our I Saw Something Safe Program, bringing our total to 130 submissions year-to-date. These observations help us identify both safe and unsafe conditions, reinforce positive behaviors, and strengthen our culture of safety.

We would like to thank everyone who took the time to submit a safety observation or recognize a coworker for their actions.

Mike Amico (Hershey Theatre): Recognized for performing confined space entry activities while utilizing all required PPE.

Rox Maxwell (Harrisburg Service): Recognized for assisting a coworker experiencing a medical emergency.

Kyle Ellers (Harrisburg Office): Recognized for assisting a coworker experiencing a medical emergency.

Keith Blumenstein (Lancaster Data Center): Recognized for conducting a post-incident safety meeting for all McClure workers.

McClure Company recently completed Phase 1 of a major heating system upgrade at Blue Ridge School District's Central Campus. Working closely with District leadership, our team helped secure funding opportunities, develop project budgets, and implement a solution that replaced aging oil-fired equipment with a modern propane heating system and advanced building controls.

With a new biomass boiler planned for installation next summer, this multi-phase project will help improve reliability, enhance energy efficiency, and reduce long-term operating costs while providing a dependable heating solution for the entire campus.
