  • East Lycoming School District

McClure Company implemented lighting replacements, building envelope upgrades, window replacements, HVAC efficiency and automatic temperature controls. Renewable energy measures included two earth coupled geothermal heat pump loops, a wood chip biomass heating system, a 600 kW photovoltaic array, and a small scale wind turbine.
  • Steelton-Highspire School District

This performance based project included upgrades to numerous HVAC systems at the high school as well as aesthetic improvements to the auditorium. The savings to pay for the project were generated both from lighting upgrades throughout the school district as well as a full re-commissioning of the elementary school. Despite the fact that the elementary school was relatively new, McClure was able to generate energy savings in this building while simultaneously improving building operations and occupant comfort.
  • Wallenpaupack Area School District

The project focused on the failing, outdated, and inefficient HVAC system in four of the District’s Schools. The results of the project were holistic infrastructure upgrades that reduced the energy consumption through a sustainable Geothermal System implementation. The District’s goal was to develop a self funded project that would not increase taxes, while addressing the aging infrastructure. Along with the new HVAC systems, the District was able to fund a new Facility Management Control System, Lighting upgrades, Building Envelope upgrades and Middle School Roofing upgrades.
