McClure Company is dedicated to the safety, health, and welfare of its employees. We believe that all accidents occur as a result of a specific cause or causes and are therefore, preventable. Accidents are not an acceptable cost of doing business. Our goal is to establish and promote a Zero Injury Work Environment .

The following is a list of our safety goals and objectives:

  • Provide a safe healthful workplace free from recognized hazards
  • Provide safety training and education to its workforce
  • Comply with OSHA and any applicable rules set forth   by our clients
  • Holding project managers and foreman accountable for the safety performance of their job sites
  • Recognizing accident prevention and safety as a key component of all operational activity and not a separate program
  • Improve safety measurement indicators to exceed best in industry for incident rate, lost workday rate, and experience modification rate (EMR)
  • Reduce safety related costs and workers compensation costs to increase our competitiveness
  • Have McClure Company recognized as a leader in industry for our safety record

  • 1998 Mechanical Contractors Association (MCA) Safety Excellence Award
  • 1999 McClure Company surpassed 250,000 man-hours without a lost time accident!
  • 2000 McClure Company surpassed 1,000,000 man-hours without a lost time accident!
  • 2001 Received national safety excellence recognition from the Mechanical Contractors Association of America.
  • 2002 Surpassed 1,000,000 man-hours without a time loss injury
